Buying a ticket means choosing the route that suits you best, figuring out how to get to this remote corner of Albania, and enjoying the anticipation of the journey, knowing that something special awaits you.

Passenger Ferries (Van/Bus + Ferry)

Organized transport departing from Tirana, Shkodër, or Fierza, including minivan transfer to the terminal and ferry boarding.

Ferry for vehicles

If you are traveling by car or motorcycle, you can board your vehicle on the ferry (reservation required).

Pick-up and drop-off

You can only book ground transportation to and from Tirana, Shkodër, or Fierza.

Timetables and departures

Ferries depart daily from Koman station and travel to Fierza, with intermediate stops where applicable.
Departures are generally in the morning, between 9:00 and 9:30, but times may vary depending on the season.
The journey takes approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes along one of the most spectacular river routes in the Balkans.

Transporation from Tirana, Shkodër, and Fierza

To make things easier for tourists, the ferry service is combined with organized transport departing from the main cities:

From Tirana

Departure: around 5:00 a.m.
Transportation: Shared minibus
Travel time: approximately 3.5 hours
Arrival at the Koman terminal in time for the ferry departure

From Shkodër

Departure: around 6:30 a.m.
Transportation: Shared minibus
Travel time: around 2 hours

From Fierza

Return service and connections to Valbonë or other northern locations available

Important: Transportation is coordinated with ferry schedules to ensure convenient connections without delays.

Reaching Koman independently

If you prefer to travel by private or rental vehicle:

From Tiranaç 3.5-4 hours
From Shkodër: 2-2.5 hours
Last 30 km on a narrow but scenic mountain road
Parking available at the terminal

Please note: the roads to the terminal are often narrow and winding, especially in the last 15 km. Drive carefully.
